Eye test was great and very informative…frame/ lens selection was great too…picked up my new glasses today…again, great glasses. However the person dealing with me put in absolutely zero effort to fit them…just looked at me, said they are fine and that was that. I asked him if all is straight and fits…he just looked at me and said yes and good bye. He never even got up to look behind my ears. The guy did absolutely nothing to fit them…not even sure why he bothered to sit down for this. Shop was also empty…appalling service!

Fantastic Service - From the moment I arrived, the quality of service and advise I received from Andrew was exceptional. The place was very busy but I was seen very quickly and given a comprehensive eye test . The result is I now have my 1st pair of glasses. Great service. Been buying my child's glasses here for a number of years and always great service. Today we turned up, no appointment with damage glasses and asked for help. Great response, friendly help and 5 minutes later fixed glasses at no charge with a smile. Now that's customer service. Very COVID safe too.

My wife and I made our bi-annual visit to Specsavers Abingdon yesterday. We have used the store for several years. As ever, the booking process was quick, efficient and effortless. The staff at Abingdon have clearly spent some time thinking about the optimal solution to mitigate Covid related risks, and the result is an absolutely seamless process which works very well. Customer numbers in-store are well judged and effectively managed. At no point did we ever feel that overcrowding and attendant risk of accidental transmission of the virus was an issue. From our arrival at the front door, where we were greeted promptly and courteously, and escorted to the check in process, through to the point where we left the store, was there ever any doubt in our minds that customer care is an important element of the branch's operational philosophy. We were made to feel valued and treated with courtesy throughout our visit. The staff are unfailingly polite, keen to engage with the their customers, and happy to go the extra mile. They exhibit an extremely diligent and professional approach, and it is clear to us that team morale is high. We have used Specsavers Abingdon for several years, and despite the fact we have moved out of area, we still travel back to see them - such is the level of our confidence in their customer focus and professionalism.
