This marina is in a sheltered location about half a mile from the town centre.

Seems like another country, almost.. Slight Scandinavian feel. Peaceful and lovely, with a quiet walk, amongst trees next to Thames, too.

Grassy area with plenty of trees and shrubs around, nicer little walk round the 'Island' bit looking at boats etc. No amenities of any kind, other than a few benches.

What a stunning wee hidden gem of a place!

Excellent starting point for a superb day out on the Thames.

Recently found this little slice of heaven, been teaching my daughter to walk round here. Very peaceful you wouldnt think you were in the middle of Abingdon. Good for a picnic....nice to sit on the benches by the river and watch the rowers go by.
