Excellent takeaway food, friendly staff. Will be somewhere I visit again and again for takeaway food. Jamaican set meal for 1 was HUGE! And very tasty. Also popped in randomly for a patty, the lamb one I tried was excellent.

Had a couple of lovely takeaways from here. Order the dumplings and the Jamaican Sunday Dinner! Chicken curry that we had last night was lush. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed it. Liz n Frog 🐸

Food was absolutely delicious 10/10! Good music. Friendly people. Sometimes it can be awkward going to eat on your own, but they made me feel so welcome. Thank you! 😊 The Okra soup with pounded yam was the tastiest food I have had in ages. Thanks again! 😊 Wish I lived closer. 😅

My new Friday lunchtime go-to treat. This is awesome food. Great portion size, amazing flavours and prepared to order so there’s a short wait but it’s worth it for the freshness. Piping hot too. Still had to let it cool down when I got it back to work. Definitely visiting again.

Went in yesterday with our local Traffic officer and the beef stew with rice and peas was out of this world. We decided to share in order to see if it would be too hot for my taste buds. Our mistake was only getting ONE fork...l had to fight that six foot two man for every bite!! Would so recommend. Less coffee shops and barbers, bring on the Reggae and decent food...like Arnie, "I'll be back" x

Today’s lunch took us to pappys, Caribbean food in Oxford is somthing I’ve yet to find, and stumble on this on google and thought I’ll give it a try, and was surprised! Wow! Amazing let’s talk about food! I ordered Curry Chicken, rice and peas, steam veg and mac&cheese, with dumplings. Starting with the portion size, it was huge, but it wasn’t quantity over quality! - the rice and pea was cooked perfectly great taste that coconuty thyme and scotch bonnet vibe just hits! The curry chicken was flavoured nicely soft boneless chicken deep in flavour, steam veg was nice also plenty of it too. This spot surprised me massively it was very authentic every flavour hit exactly how yard food should! I’ll be back that’s for sure! Today overall rating 8.5/10 Side note, do allow a bit of time to be served, takes a while to get your food but it’s worth it! Big up!

My husband & I ordered here for the first time tonight and it was UNREAL. Very generous portions & really good price. It was delivered within 30 mins but the best thing was is that it was piping hot and most definitely fresh. I’d rather wait a bit longer and be reassured I get delivered fresh food that’s hot rather than being told it will be ready in 10 mins! The guy delivering it was very happy, smiley, chatty, kind- top customer service. I had curry goat, rice and dumplings And husband had jerk chicken burger, Mac and cheese. Can’t tell you how good it tasted! In my opinion the mac and cheese and curry goat was insane! Just trust me and try it! You won’t be disappointed!

Big fan of plantain, the dumplings were sweet and warm but the chicken…mm mmm!!! The jerk chicken is amazing!!! I’m not a fan of meat in the bone so the gent who served us changed it up so I could have a breast instead of wing/thigh. Soooo impressed! Highly recommend, looking forward to the next!

Just discovered this place (through a review here on Google Maps!) and we were not disappointed! Food has just the right amount of spice and is full of flavour. Pappy delivered our food and was very friendly. Will order from them again! 😊

Amazing food! Just exactly what Abingdon needed I can stop travelling to Oxford now! Only thing is delivery time was longer than expected but food arrived piping hot and fresh, I’m so happy to see a fresh cooked food! Portions are decent we got the brown stew lamb, curried goat & jerk chicken.. with rice & pea’s dumplings mac & cheese and coleslaw.. shared between 3 people!
