We had a wonderful weekend. Our camp leaders clearly love their jobs and were fantastic with the children and we were kept thoroughly entertained and laughing throughout rain (lots of rain!) and shine! Can’t recommend it enough. My children have already asked to come back next year!

Fantastic experience. Great and knowledgeable staff and amazing forest to be in. If you are looking to spend time/ bond with your kids and/or take them away from devices and indoor life this is the place.
Kids and adults can learn valuable skills here, like cooking, knot making, fire making , basic knife skills etc. while camping and spending time together.
Will come again.

My son had an absolutely brilliant time at the 5 day advanced camp. As soon as I arrived to pick him up, he asked if he could go again next year which says it all. Lots of very happy looking kids at pick up.

Attentive and ready to always HELP. Our kids and us Will never forget bring in the Bleinhem Woods with them and the rest of the families. Highly reccommended

I have registered and paid for my son at Penhurst place for the end of July'23. Staff doesn't get back on emails or phone calls. In a previous email they told me only 8 kids are registered in a large wilderness camp and maybe 8 more will come.
There seems to be no reassuring social media chatter and only 6 (all 5 star) reviews. Something seems off. Website seems too good to be true.
Reading everything about it, combined with my experience already, I have decided not to send my son. Hopefully they refund the money !

I took our 6 year old to the family camp and she hasn't stopped talking about it since. We learned how to light fires, make shelters, did archery and cooked over the fire at night. My daughter has been insisting we light a fire in the garden most weekends so this year I am sending her back on the kids camp!

My kids loved this camp last year. They went to the Boughton Woods camp and had a brilliant time... I picked them up very mucky but full of stories. We have just booked for this year and they are really looking forward to it.

Our family have thoroughly enjoyed the three day family camp in Penshurst and special thanks to Tom and Theo, the amazing staff on site.
They are so patient and caring around the kids and their vast knowledge of the nature and activities bring a lot of joys to the kids as well as to adults. Their passion for the job shines through their work.
The activities are all very well organized and as adults we learn a great deal and feel totally re energized after the three day break despite that initial shock of unable to have showers each day.
The program is just the right pace and we will definitely make a return next year!
Seeing the shooting star and super sized moon is just bonus on top!
