After employing local builders/decorators for previous jobs and not being overly pleased with the results, we wanted to go for a more professional outfit - that is exactly what we got with LA Group. The excellent and attentive communication from Lewis was particularly notable. They were also very open to changes and additions to the job as it evolved over time. The plasterer they used, Jonny, was a real perfectionist and deserves a special mention for his hard work and focus on achieving a good finish on our wonky house. Final outcome is something we are really pleased with. We will use them again for future work, no question. Recommended.

Lewis and Marcin were both excellent and very friendly, which has been much appreciated. We were looking for help as we needed a plethora of random tasks doing after moving into a new home. After approaching them via email with our list, a rate and time/date were speedily agreed. Marcin arrived on time and was a real pleasure to have, working efficiently and advising us on the best way to carry out a few more complex items. LA paint come highly recommend This was the third time that I’ve used LA paint and they were amazing again. Lewis, Leo and the team took on a huge project, the house had not been decorated for 40 years and there was a complete overhaul. Other companies were used to do some structural, electrical and plumbing work but LA paint did the rest. From laying wood flooring, hanging oak fire doors, installing an amazing Howden’s kitchen, tiling floors, creating a bespoke shower, fitting floorboards, cleaning, and painting the entire property, LA paint did the lot. Leo is a highly skilled carpenter who takes pride and care in his work. His attention detail means that everything is done to an outstanding standard, the way he hung 10 oak fire doors and installed the kitchen is testament to that. Communication was always excellent, there were regular site visits to walk and talk things through. Lewis and Leo were able to make recommendations and come up with practical solutions. The bespoke shower unit is an example, I was left with 4 Inches of gap at the end of the shower tray, Leo built a stud wall that included a shelf, it’s great and really useful. I found the pricing really competitive and honest. You will do well to find cheaper but then again I did not get quotes from anyone else as I knew the service and standard I would be getting. I have recommended LA paint to my neighbours and family, they are a company that you can trust, and in my experience these companies are hard to find. Get in touch with Lewis and get them booked in. Good companies will not be able to complete work for several months, hence why I booked them in months before I purchased the property. I’ve said I would be happy for potential clients to come and look at the standard work completed at my house and talk anyone through renovation projects. I cannot recommend LA paint enough.

LA Group were fantastic from start to finish. Lewis and Leo came for a site visit as we discussed turning our old dingy storage room into a bright family boot room, complete with built in wardrobe and bench. They listened carefully to our wish list, then offered practical suggestions and solutions to get something even better than we expected as an end result. Service was top notch and friendly, and Leo in particular led the project day to day and wouldn’t call it job done until everything met his high standards. We are absolutely delighted and would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended.
