I placed a order Saturday just before 5pm ( states on website delivery after 5pm) the food arrived at 6:30pm cold & soggy was awful , used to order often from here and the food was always hot and arrived quickly. Shame it has changed

Food took 1.5 hours to arrive. When it did all the food was barely warm. I called the “restaurant” to let them know that the food was cold and some of it was soggy as well. No apology or attempt to appease an annoyed customer. I said we had paid over £30 for poor quality food and requested a refund. I was told the delivery driver was the owner who would call to discuss the issue and refund. As it had already gone 9.30pm I said he can call before 10pm or on Tuesday when they are next open. Next thing I know we get a knock on our door at 10.30pm from the delivery driver and supposed owner! He argued with my husband on our doorstep that the food wasn’t cold and demanded that we gave it back! My husband explained that we reheated it in our oven as otherwise we wouldn’t have had anything to eat. The driver said that the food was definitely hot and if we had eaten it why were we asking for the refund. My husband explained we reheated it and we wouldn’t have had anything else otherwise, and that we were asking for a refund because of the poor quality of the food, late delivery and now the shocking behaviour of their treatment and approach to customers! It is very clear the type of establishment they are and we will most definitely not be returning and I urge anyone else considering using their service not to!

It's an absolutely amazing plate... I really recommend that, the place is comfy, clean and tidy... The attendance was really nice... Thanks for making my dinner the best ever...

Nice, quick and easy meal whilst working. Nice staff and good quality good. Definitely something I will choose to eat again rather than your typical fast food restaurant.

When Forno first opened its doors we were regulars, the pizza was wonderful. You could tell it was cooked fresh and always arrived fresh and warm. Last year we had a bad experience, it was cold, burnt, late and just really bad quality. We spoke with the owner who kindly gave us a refund. We tried again a few weeks later and again it was late and cold. It’s been a year and thought we would go back and see if any improvement. Unfortunately we will not be back again, you may as well save your money and head to Tesco for the cheapest margarita pizza. The garlic bread was so dry, it was all cold and poor quality. Such a shame, it used to be our favourite pizza in Abingdon.

Absolutely love this place! Traditional pizza which tastes delicious served by a lovely Italian family:) I much prefer supporting this local business than going to a chain! Would definitely recommend :)

Arrived and shown the table. Ordered drinks but whilst looking at the menu informed they are only doing starters and pizza no pasta dishes as the pasta chef is not there. Paid and finished drinks and went elsewhere as we were looking for pasta rather than pizza. He did examine the chef was off for a funeral. Just a shame we were not told this on entering. We will go back and give it another try once pasta is back on the menu.

Ordered for the first time this evening and SO glad I found Forno. Can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on it all this time! I spoke to Nico who recommended the Napoli pizza and Puttanesca pasta. Both were made perfectly; well balanced, authentic Italian dishes and arrived suitably hot. The online ordering system was also great, allows for Apple Pay, and scored a 5* food hygiene rating in a recent inspection (June 21). A faultless experience and will be back again next week. Fingers crossed the next time lives up to Nico’s service today.

I have had the best takeaway Italian meal delivered to my hotel - it was delicious - the Gorgonzola and Walnut Gnocchi was amazing! The starter was a meal in itself and was fresh and tasty. My only criticism was the Tiramisu which was a let down - very synthetic and quite tasteless. Homemade Italian Tiramisu would have been wonderful and got you 5 stars! I will definitely order from here again as the service was great, the food was hot and delicious but I will give desert a miss
